Ipswich recently secured their spot in the upcoming Premier League season after clinching victory on the final day of the Championship season.
Defender Luke Woolfenden used the celebratory platform to call out Sky pundit Don Goodman, known for his appearances on the broadcaster’s Football League coverage, including Championship matches.
Woolfenden’s unfiltered comments, aired by Sky, expressed his frustration with Goodman’s previous assessments of the team’s abilities. Despite their promotion, Woolfenden predicted a mid-table finish for Ipswich in the Premier League, dismissing Goodman’s doubts.
In response, Goodman, speaking through OLBG, expressed confusion over Woolfenden’s remarks and criticized the player for airing grievances during the club’s celebratory parade.
