Breaking News: Haas Factory his signing both Sheldon Creed and Sam Mayer for a multi-year deal after….

Haas Factory Team has secured drivers Sheldon Creed and Sam Mayer to lead its NASCAR Xfinity Series lineup starting in 2025, signing both racers to multiyear deals. Creed is set to drive the No. 00 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, while Mayer will pilot the No. 41 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. The team has chosen to use the No. 41 in the Xfinity Series, replacing the No. 98 that it inherited from Stewart-Haas Racing, in order to better align with its overall program. This decision follows the team’s July announcement that the No. 41 would also be used in the Cup Series with driver Cole Custer.

Joe Custer, president of Haas Factory Team, emphasized that although the team’s name is changing, their commitment to success remains steadfast. He noted that the team’s Xfinity Series program, previously run under Stewart-Haas Racing, has a strong history of winning races and championships. Custer expressed confidence that Creed and Mayer, both of whom have won championships en route to the Xfinity Series, are well-positioned to compete for titles and contribute to the team’s continued success.

Sheldon Creed, the 2020 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion, brings considerable experience to the team. The 26-year-old driver from Alpine, California, has secured eight wins in the Truck Series and has been competing full-time in the Xfinity Series since 2022. Although he has yet to claim his first Xfinity Series win, Creed has achieved 10 second-place finishes, with the most recent coming at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in June. He qualified for the Xfinity Series Playoffs last year, finishing seventh in the overall standings.
