Incredible News: Caitlin Clark donate over $5 Million Dollar to support former Iowa teammate Gabbie Marshall as she takes part in spreading awareness against cancer

Caitlin Clark and Gabbie Marshall might no longer be teammates, but their bond remains strong as they continue to support each other. Marshall has been spotted at several Indiana Fever games this season, cheering on her former teammate. Clark, in turn, has frequently expressed her support for Marshall’s endeavors outside of basketball. Recently, Clark extended her support when Marshall announced her latest partnership with Cancer brand, a clothing company dedicated to aiding cancer victims.

In an Instagram video, Marshall shared that she is collaborating with the brand to raise $100,000 in donations to help those battling cancer. This initiative is particularly meaningful to her, as her grandmother is currently fighting multiple myeloma.

After five seasons with the Iowa Hawkeyes, Marshall has retired from basketball and is now pursuing a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She credits her time with the Hawkeyes as a period of significant personal growth. Together with Clark and Kate Martin, Marshall was instrumental in leading the Hawkeyes to consecutive NCAA championship game appearances. While Marshall has stepped away from basketball, Clark and Martin are now making their marks in the WNBA.

Clark, playing for the Indiana Fever, is having an outstanding season, helping the team in their quest for a playoff spot. She is averaging 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game, with shooting percentages of 40.5% from the field and 32.7% from beyond the arc. Clark’s performance in the recent WNBA All-Star game was notable as she recorded 10 assists, setting a new record for most assists by a rookie in an All-Star game, along with scoring four points.

As the Fever guard prepares for the 2024 Paris Olympics, she will enjoy a month-long break before returning to the court to continue her impressive season.
