Flash News: Caitlin Clark Fired Up About Being On The Hood Of A NASCAR Cup Series Car…

While Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is attending the WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix, her presence will still be felt in Indianapolis in a unique way. This week, it was announced that Stewart-Haas Racing’s No. 4 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, driven by Josh Berry, will feature a special paint scheme with Clark’s image on the hood during the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This collaboration stems from a partnership with Panini trading cards, resulting in an eye-catching design.

Clark expressed her excitement to WISH-TV, saying she was amazed when she saw her likeness on a NASCAR car. Her reaction was predictably enthusiastic, as she exclaimed, “Oh my gosh! Is this real? I want to drive the car. So, sometime maybe I have to take a spin, but it’s super cool… Hopefully it brings good vibes, and we get the W.”

The thrill of seeing oneself on a race car would be exciting for anyone, but Clark’s connection to NASCAR goes deeper. She revealed that she grew up watching NASCAR due to her mother’s involvement, making her a genuine fan of the sport.

The partnership extends beyond the race itself. The team and Clark plan to auction off the hood to benefit the Matt Alexander Memorial Baseball Scholarship Fund, showcasing a meaningful cross-sport collaboration. This initiative not only highlights NASCAR but also supports a charitable cause, adding another layer of significance as the Cup Series returns to the IMS oval for the first time in several years.
