Sad News: Due to personal reasons Ricciardo announce is departure from……

F1 expert Craig Slater recently discussed Daniel Ricciardo’s future, indicating that the driver’s hopes of competing at the highest level have faded. This development is due to Red Bull’s decision to extend Sergio Perez’s contract for another two years.

After Ricciardo rejoined Red Bull in 2023, there was significant anticipation surrounding his return. Both his fans and Ricciardo himself hoped he would once again drive a top-tier car alongside Max Verstappen. However, these aspirations have been dampened by Red Bull’s choice to keep Perez in the second seat until the end of 2026. This decision surprised many, including Slater, who questioned what lies ahead for Ricciardo.

Ricciardo, who will turn 35 in July, will be 37 by the conclusion of the 2026 F1 season. This timeline significantly narrows the window for the eight-time Grand Prix winner to make a comeback with Red Bull. With Perez’s position secured, Ricciardo’s prospects for a top seat next year have effectively vanished.

Red Bull’s decision also impacts other drivers’ aspirations. Yuki Tsunoda, having performed impressively this season with 19 points in nine races, was considered a strong contender for a Red Bull seat. Additionally, Carlos Sainz, who was eyeing a chance to race alongside his former Toro Rosso teammate Verstappen, now faces a dead end. Sainz is expected to be replaced by Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari when his contract expires at the end of the season.
