Breaking News: Georgia announces kickoff time for home opener…..

The Georgia Bulldogs will host their home opener against Tennessee Tech at 2:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 7, at Sanford Stadium. This game will be broadcast on ESPN+. Georgia currently holds the longest home winning streak in college football, with their last home loss occurring against South Carolina in 2019. Since that defeat, the Bulldogs have secured two national championships and have aded former South Carolina coach Will Muschamp to Kirby Smart’s coaching staff in Athens.

 

Due to Georgia’s new television contract with ESPN and ABC, fans now receive information about game kickoff times much earlier. The Bulldogs will face Tennessee Tech following their season opener against the Clemson Tigers in Atlanta. After the Tennessee Tech game, Georgia will play its first true road game against the Kentucky Wildcats. Additionally, Georgia has announced that the game against Georgia Tech will take place at 7:30 p.m. ET on Black Friday, November 29.
