The 26-year-old will continue his career exclusively with the Titans for at least the next six years. In a significant recruitment move, Penrith has secured Kiwi test star Isaiah Papali’i to join them from the start of 2025. The 2021 Dally M Second Rower of the Year, currently contracted with Wests Tigers until the end of 2025, will transition to the Panthers next season after negotiating an early release. “We’re excited to have Isaiah for the next three seasons,” said Panthers CEO Matt Cameron. “He brings extensive experience, leadership, and is a world-class forward.”
Papali’i joined Wests Tigers from Parramatta in 2021 and will reach his 150th NRL game later this year, having debuted for the Warriors in 2017. Meanwhile, Aaron Pene has been granted an immediate release by the Storm to join Super League. Pene debuted in the NRL in 2020 and has accumulated 32 NRL games.
The Dolphins have extended Ray Stone’s contract for two more years, keeping him until at least the end of 2026. Stone has played 26 matches for the Dolphins since joining from the Eels. The Bulldogs have signed Tom Amone from the Leigh Leopards on a two-year deal starting in 2025. Amone, who previously played for the Rabbitohs and Wests Tigers, joined Leigh in 2022, playing 63 games and winning the 2023 Challenge Cup final.
The Sea Eagles have signed Aaron Schoupp to a two-year deal following his release from the Titans. Schoupp has played 52 NRL games since his 2021 debut. Jaydn Su’A has extended his stay with the Dragons until the end of 2026. Su’A joined St George Illawarra in 2022 after playing for the Broncos and Rabbitohs.
David Fifita will remain with the Titans beyond 2024, exercising his player option to stay until the end of 2026. Dolphins prop Mark Nicholls has agreed to continue with the club in 2025, with the Dolphins activating a contract option. Wayde Egan has extended his contract with the Warriors until the end of 2027, securing his position for two more seasons after his current deal ends in 2025.
