On Thursday, American Express and Grammy-nominated artist Teddy Swims hosted an exclusive Album Preview Event for Swims’ latest release, “I’ve Tried Everything but Therapy (Pt 2),” at Webster Hall. This immersive experience was curated for American Express card members, offering early access to the event, which included themed cocktails, sweet treats, photo ops, and exclusive merchandise.

Fans enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere, complete with a set replicating the album cover, where attendees could pose to recreate the iconic image. Two exclusive pieces of Teddy Swims merchandise were available for card members, who also received a complimentary Teddy Swims tote bag with any merch purchase.

The standout attraction was a series of orange rotary phones playing a heartfelt message from Swims to his fans. Guests could also record their own messages for Swims, which will be compiled into a vinyl record for him to cherish.

The bars served cocktails inspired by Swims’ music, such as “Guilty” and “Northern Lights,” while the candy store, “lil sweet treat,” offered artisanal confections matching the album’s orange and brown theme.

As ticket holders settled into the theatre, Swims’ new album played, setting the mood. The energy peaked around 9 p.m. when Swims took the stage, captivating the audience with his brassy, soulful voice. Performing tracks like “Northern Lights” and “Bad Dreams” from his new album, he also revisited classics such as “The Door” and closed the night with his hit “Lose Control.”

Grateful and emotional, Swims thanked the crowd, saying, “You changed my life. I love you.” Fans left the event feeling deeply connected to the artist and his music.
