Teddy Swims Drops New Album and Prepares for Grammys and World Tour
American singer-songwriter Teddy Swims has released his highly-anticipated new album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2). The Grammy-nominated artist’s latest record, under Warner Records, features collaborations with GIVĒON, GloRilla, and Muni Long, along with the lead single “Bad Dreams.”
“This album continues where Part 1 left off,” Swims explained. “Since the first album, I’ve been evolving, growing, and healing in many ways. While Part 1 left listeners with heartbreak and little resolution, Part 2 provides a bit more closure. There’s still heartbreak, but it’s a more complete journey this time.”
Swims first debuted with Part 1 in September 2023, following a series of EPs released between 2021 and 2022. The album was a significant success, charting at #4 in Australia and #6 in New Zealand. He later toured internationally, performing sold-out shows in July, including a memorable performance in Sydney that earned praise from Rolling Stone AU/NZ.
Swims initially gained attention through YouTube covers of hits like Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You” and Shania Twain’s “You’re Still The One,” which led to a record deal with Warner Records in 2019. His 2023 single “Lose Control” became a breakthrough hit, earning Platinum certification in Australia with over 20 million streams and peaking at #7 on the ARIA singles chart. The track also achieved Platinum status in New Zealand, reaching #4 on the country’s singles chart.
Looking ahead, the Georgia-born artist will attend the 2025 Grammys in Los Angeles, where he’s nominated for Best New Artist alongside Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, RAYE, and others. Following the ceremony, Swims will embark on a world tour, starting in Germany and including stops at Lollapalooza festivals in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil.
