Rajah Caruth has shown impressive skills in just two seasons of full-time competition in the NASCAR Truck Series, sparking speculation that he might move up to the Xfinity Series in 2025. This came after reporter Bob Pockrass responded to a fan’s question following news that Brandon Jones would return to Joe Gibbs Racing in 2025 after spending two years with JR Motorsports. Despite the buzz around Caruth possibly securing an Xfinity Series seat with JR Motorsports, Pockrass clarified that the team is actually focused on finding funding for Carson Kvapil, another up-and-coming driver who has been racing part-time in NASCAR this season.
Currently, 22-year-old Caruth drives the No. 71 Chevy Silverado for Spire Motorsports. In his rookie season, he finished 16th in the points standings. In 2024, he has improved to 10th place after 17 races. One of the highlights of his career so far came in March when Caruth secured his first Truck Series victory at Las Vegas. However, he finished 18th in the playoff opener at The Milwaukee Mile on August 25. As Caruth continues to develop, fans and teams are keeping a close watch on his potential jump to the Xfinity Series in the future.
