Sad News: Kyle Larson reacts to FireKeepers 400 being rescheduled after….

Kyle Larson is reminiscing about his early NASCAR days, expressing a desire to return to the afternoon race schedules he experienced as a rookie. Following the announcement that the FireKeepers Casino 400 had been rescheduled to Monday at 11 a.m. ET, Larson took to social media platform X to share his thoughts, expressing a preference for the races to start at 1 p.m. ET as they did when he first started in the sport.

“I miss the 1pm start times from my rookie season…,” Larson wrote. The original schedule for the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway had the race beginning on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET. However, the start was delayed due to weather conditions, with the race eventually commencing shortly after 5 p.m. Unfortunately, after completing Stage 1, NASCAR officials were forced to halt the race with a red flag as more rain moved into the area. It was subsequently announced that the race would resume on Monday morning.

Before the red flag, Larson was performing well, finishing 14th in the first stage. During the second stage, the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Champion was holding a strong position in seventh place. Although Larson has already secured a spot in the playoffs, he is still aiming to win the regular-season title, currently leading the Cup Series standings with three races remaining.
