Tragic News: Detroit’s QB Jared Goff has officially announced his departure after…..

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff recently appeared on the “Bussin with the Boys” podcast, hosted by Will Compton and Taylor Lewan. The discussion primarily revolved around the Lions and their NFL careers, but it briefly shifted to the topic of college football. Lewan, who played college football at the University of Michigan, asked Goff a significant question for anyone living in Michigan: whether he supports the University of Michigan or Michigan State.

Goff, the Lions’ starting quarterback, didn’t hesitate in his response, declaring his allegiance to Michigan. He explained, “Michigan, Michigan,” adding that his preference isn’t influenced by Lewan’s presence, but rather by the fact that he lives near many Michigan alumni and knows very few people who attended Michigan State.

Goff’s college football career was spent at the University of California, Berkeley (Cal), where he played from 2013 to 2015. He was then selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. After spending five seasons in Los Angeles, Goff was traded to Detroit, where he has played a key role in transforming the Lions from perennial underachievers into serious Super Bowl contenders. Goff’s success on the field, coupled with his newfound support for Michigan, has only endeared him further to fans in the state, solidifying his status as a beloved figure in Detroit.
