In the fourth quarter, Clark secured her third game of the season with 10+ points and 10+ assists by passing to Aliyah Boston for a two-point hook shot. This achievement ties her with former Seattle Storm star Sue Bird for the most points and assists double-doubles in a rookie season.
Clark is a standout player for the young Fever team, consistently making history with each game. In a previous match against the Phoenix Mercury, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star was just one rebound away from becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double. Sue Bird, who achieved three games of 10+ points and 10+ assists in her 2002 rookie season, went on to become a four-time WNBA champion and a 13-time All-Star.
Clark was named to the 2024 WNBA All-Star game before the Fever faced the Aces, joining Angel Reese as the only rookies on the roster. Despite her impressive performance, the Fever lost to the Aces with a final score of 88-69. Notably, Kate Martin is now 2-0 against her former Iowa teammate Clark.
