Marco Bezzecchi might soon find himself on what is considered the second-best bike on the grid, as Aprilia shows strong interest in the Italian rider. Following their signing of Jorge Martin after the Italian MotoGP, Aprilia is keen on securing Bezzecchi, who not only fits their desire for an Italian rider but also brings proven MotoGP victories to the table.
When questioned about his future, Bezzecchi remained non-committal, stating, “Right now, the position that I’m in, for sure I am looking around a bit but I’m also in a moment where I’m struggling so I’m not thinking too much about the future. I’m trying to think about the present.” Despite his focus on the present, Bezzecchi acknowledged interest from another manufacturer.
Aprilia is anticipated to finalize a deal with Bezzecchi, potentially pairing him with Martin, which would be a significant acquisition for the team. For Ducati, losing Bezzecchi would be a setback for their satellite team, but for Bezzecchi, it could be a crucial step forward in his career.
When asked about interest from teams other than Ducati, Bezzecchi confirmed the speculation, stating, “Yes.” However, he also admitted uncertainty about his future, saying, “the truth is that I don’t know” where he will be riding in 2025.
