Sad News: Magnussen makes case for Haas contract extension due to…

Kevin Magnussen feels he has nothing left to prove to Haas as he aims to secure his place with the team for the next season. The 31-year-old driver first joined the American squad in 2017 and was dropped at the end of 2020 alongside his then teammate, Romain Grosjean. However, he returned to replace Nikita Mazepin shortly before the 2022 season began.

This year’s driver market is notably unpredictable and active, with many drivers out of contract. Despite this uncertainty, Magnussen prefers to stay with Haas rather than seek opportunities elsewhere. Although he is a well-known entity to the team, he acknowledges the possibility of not securing a spot for the next season.

Magnussen told the media, including RacingNews365, that there is a chance he could be one of the drivers left out. However, he believes Haas knows him well, and he has nothing more to prove. He noted the openness of this year’s driver market and remains hopeful about his future with the team.

Magnussen has expressed his desire to continue with Haas, believing the team is in a strong position with a promising future. He wishes to be part of this progress and remains focused on his current performance until his future is decided.
