Recent Experience: Facing the Rams is devastating 😢 NFL need to……

The Los Angeles Rams needed a transformative offseason to recover from a dismal 2022 season, and their efforts seem to be paying off. The team had an outstanding draft, which was pivotal in their successful playoff return last year. Early signs suggest that the Rams, under the guidance of general manager Les Snead, might have struck gold again.

Josh Edwards from CBS Sports praised Snead for an “admirable” 2024 offseason, ranking the Rams among the top 10 teams for their offseason performance. In his June 17 article, Edwards placed the Rams at No. 6. Among the top six, four teams came from the NFC, including the Bears (1), Cardinals (2), and Eagles (5). Other teams in the rankings were the Steelers (3), Texans (4), Patriots (7), Commanders (8), Titans (9), and the Rams’ rival, the Lions (10).

As with all NFL teams, the true measure of the Rams’ offseason success will be evident as the season progresses. They will face stiff competition in their conference, particularly if teams like Arizona, Philadelphia, and Chicago capitalize on their strong offseasons and exceed expectations.

A key aspect of the Rams’ offseason strategy was the addition of Jared Verse and Braden Fiske. Snead made a calculated move to acquire the Florida State duo, even at the cost of moving up for Fiske. This decision will likely be viewed positively if it yields results. The pre-existing bond between Verse and Fiske is expected to benefit the team in the upcoming season and beyond.

For Les Snead to be vindicated for his offseason maneuvers, the Rams must deliver strong performances in 2024. Snead has laid a solid foundation with his draft choices over the past two years, and there is a sense of optimism that the team is poised to rise in the competitive landscape of Hollywood football.
