Breaking: keary as sign multimillionaire contract worth $250 Million Dollar with the……

Roosters veteran Luke Keary has made another surprising move by signing with the Catalans Dragons to conclude his rugby league career in the Super League. Last month, Keary extended his contract with the Roosters through 2025, but then he announced his retirement at the end of this NRL season. However, sportlines1.co.uk reports that the 32-year-old has changed his mind again and will now join the Catalans in southern France next year.

Keary remains one of the top playmakers in the NRL and has been selected for Michael Maguire’s NSW squad for the first two games of the 2024 State of Origin series. While he has begun transitioning into media work and has shown interest in the finance sector post-retirement, his strong current form has led him to seize the opportunity to move his young family to Europe for at least a year, potentially as a grand finale to his impressive career.

Throughout his career, Keary has achieved significant success, winning three premierships: one with the Rabbitohs in 2014 and back-to-back titles with the Roosters in 2018 and 2019. His departure from the Roosters, along with teammates Joseph Suaalii and Joey Manu, provides the club with substantial financial resources for the 2025 season. Furthermore, Brandon Smith is anticipated to leave the club early, and Blues backrower Angus Crichton has yet to commit to the Roosters beyond the current season.

Keary’s move marks the end of an era for the Roosters while offering the Catalans Dragons a player of significant talent and experience for the upcoming Super League season.
