London, UK, May 2024 – Tateside, a London-based AV and IT integrator, has announced an ongoing collaboration with the MoneyGram Haas Formula 1 Team for the 2024 racing season. Tateside, which first connected with the Haas team in 2018, has provided digital signage solutions both at the team’s factory in Banbury and trackside.
In 2023, the Haas team aimed to revamp their garage, and Creative Services Manager Peter Julian enlisted Tateside to manage the distribution of marketing visuals and live-streamed data within the garage. Julian noted the need for a reliable system to display sponsorship materials and timing data, trusting Tateside to deliver a high-end solution.
Tateside implemented a networked system of Brightsign Players for LG 55” video walls. Technical Manager Jack Cornish explained that XD1035 and XD235 players enable synchronized and scheduled content across the garage screens, displaying sponsorships, animations, live feeds, and critical timing data.
Project Manager Joby Morris collaborates with the marketing and IT trackside teams to ensure the accurate display of content for race week events, using UDP commands and a custom application for various presentations. The 2024 season marks Tateside’s first full year managing AV services for the team, providing essential support in the fast-paced motorsport environment. Julian expressed confidence in Tateside’s technical support, ensuring reliable video wall performance. Morris looks forward to continuing to innovate and improve the team’s signage needs throughout the 2024 season.
