Ipswich Town’s unexpected rise from mid-table League One to the Premier League in just two years may see some players left behind, with forward Kayden Jackson likely among them. Although Jackson made 38 league appearances in 2022/23, his best goal-scoring season was in 2019/20 with 11 goals and seven assists in League One.
As Ipswich looks to strengthen their squad for the Premier League, Jackson’s chances of playing in the top flight are slim, especially with his contract ending and unlikely to be renewed.
