West Virginia football secured a commitment from Gavin Crawford, a three-star offensive line recruit from Good Counsel High School (MD), for the Class of 2025. Crawford, who announced his decision on social media, will join former teammate Kyle Altuner (Class of 2024) and current teammate Eidan Buchanan, another Class of 2025 commit.
Crawford explained to Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Adam Friedman that WVU’s clear plan for him and their history of developing freshman All-Americans influenced his decision. He emphasized the strong “family environment” at WVU and highlighted the importance of his relationships with Coach Matt Moore and Coach Neal Brown, noting their connection beyond football.
Peers like Buchanan and Altuner encouraged Crawford to consider WVU, and he now aims to recruit more teammates, including linebacker Justin Thompson, who has offers from several top programs.
