The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are excited to announce the signing of prop Tom Amone on a two-year contract starting in 2025. Currently playing for the Leigh Leopards, Amone informed his teammates that he will be returning to the NRL after the Super League season concludes. His addition is expected to significantly bolster the Bulldogs’ forward pack, as he is known for being one of the Super League’s most formidable ball carriers.

Amone, 27, will rejoin the NRL for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, wearing the Bulldogs’ Blue and White jersey. His previous NRL experience includes playing for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, where he debuted in 2019 and stayed for two seasons, followed by a stint with the Wests Tigers in 2021. He then moved to the Super League, making 33 appearances for the Leigh Leopards, including their 2023 Challenge Cup final victory.

The Bulldogs expressed their enthusiasm for Amone’s return: “We are very excited to have Tom Amone coming back to the NRL. He has been the best front row forward in the UK for the past two years and will undoubtedly strengthen our forward stocks. We look forward to welcoming him to Belmore for the pre-season.”
