Breaking News: Tom Liberatore is back to AFL

Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge is actively working with midfielder Tom Liberatore as he approaches his return to AFL. Liberatore had been sidelined indefinitely following a concussion sustained in April during an unexpected loss to Hawthorn. The injury occurred when Conor Nash accidentally kicked Liberatore in the head, raising concerns about his future in the sport. This incident marked Liberatore’s first game back after a previous on-field collapse during the Bulldogs’ round six match against Essendon.

After the match in which he was injured, the club confirmed that Liberatore would be out for an unspecified duration while the medical team devised a recovery plan. Recently, the Bulldogs provided an update, stating that Liberatore had undergone a specialist review and received clearance to resume full training.
