Breaking news: Louisville running back Isaac Guerendo has been selected by the san francisco 49ers with the…..

The Transfer Portal just keeps spinning, with numerous college basketball players finding new homes on a daily basis this offseason. One of today’s latest updates comes from Louisville, where former South Florida talent Kasean Pryor announced his commitment to the Cardinals for next season.

A 6’9 forward originally from Chicago, Pryor played high school ball in Missouri and Michigan before beginning his collegiate career at Boise State back in 2020. He barely saw the court with the Broncos, scoring just 24 points across his first two seasons with very limited action. Pryor then spent the following season at Northwest Florida State College.

After shining with significant playing time, Pryor transferred back into D1 basketball last offseason, joining new head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim at South Florida. Every aspect of Pryor’s game took a step forward during that time at the junior college level ad he turned into quite the weapon for the Bulls this season.

In a surprise year for South Florida, Pryor was one of the biggest contributors, averaging 13.0 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, all with decent shooting figures all over the court. He was the third-leading scorer and the top rebounder for a Bulls squad that surprised many by winning the regular season title in the AAC.

Pryor was more of a role player early in the season but would develop into that force especially during league player. He became a starter in December and played well in an upset win over Florida State in his first start. He’d have several standout performances throughout AAC play, notably scoring 29 against Rice before a slew of double-doubles.

A very solid showing saw Pryor rated not just as a talented scorer and rebounder but one of that league’s best defensive players. He was an important piece in South Florida’s major bounce back and it’s not a surprise to see him testing the Transfer Portal waters again.

After some consideration, Louisville has become the next step for him in his career. He joins the lineup of new head coach Pat Kelsey, who built some talented rosters in Charleston in recent years. Pryor is the latest addition to a roster that has added Chucky Hepburn from Wisconsin, Terrence Edwards Jr. from James Madison, and a few other prospects.
