Longhorns Icon Reacts To Quinn Ewers’ Appearance On EA Sports College Football 25 Cover
As the college football world sends out their various opinions of the freshly released cover of EA Sports’ College Football 25, Texas Longhorns legend Vince Young shared his opinion on the game’s cover.
The former quarterback partook in one of college football’s more iconic games when his No. 2 ranked Longhorns defeated Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush’s No. 1 ranked USC Trojans 41-38 in the 2006 Rose Bowl Game which also determined the 2005 BCS National National Champion.
As noted across social media and the sports landscape, EA Sports’ College Football 25 standard version features Longhorns’ quarterback Quinn Ewers, Colorado Buffaloes’ wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter and Michigan Wolverines’ running back Donovan Edwards.
“Look at my guy @QuinnEwers repping the Horns on the cover EA Sports College Football 25,” Young reacted on X.
In addition to the cover release, EA Sports also announced the release date for the standard and deluxe versions as July 19.
While Young never made the cover of any EA Sports’ College Football games, he did appear on the cover of Madden ‘08 appearing in his Tennessee Titans’ uniform a few years after winning the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year Award in 2006.
Young’s praise of Ewers’ appearance on the cover could certainly excite many of the Longhorns faithful as the program continues its rise under head coach Steve Sarkisian back to being a national powerhouse similar to those Young played for.
