After being chosen by the Kansas City Chiefs in last month’s NFL Draft, former Tennessee cornerback Kamal Hadden participated in the team’s rookie minicamp and subsequently signed his rookie contract with the organization. The four-year deal he inked is worth $4,158,396, including a signing bonus of $138,396.
Hadden’s selection by the Chiefs at No. 211 in the 2024 NFL Draft reflects the team’s recognition of his development during his time at the University of Tennessee. He emerged as Tennessee’s third draft pick of the day and the third overall for the university in this year’s draft, marking him as the third defensive back chosen from Tennessee under head coach Josh Heupel.
Speaking to reporters at the 2024 NFL Combine, Hadden expressed gratitude to Tennessee for preparing him for the professional league.
