AFL News: Under-fire Bulldogs relieve pressure with Tigers thumping due to….

The Western Bulldogs achieved their highest score this season and provided their beleaguered coach, Luke Beveridge, with a much-needed respite from intense scrutiny by delivering a commanding 91-point defeat to Richmond at the MCG on Saturday night.

Right from the outset, the Bulldogs asserted their dominance, keeping Richmond scoreless in the opening quarter and ultimately securing a decisive 19.19 (133) to 6.6 (42) victory.

Richmond, already plagued by injuries, further spiraled into difficulty with Maurice Rioli Jr. (lower leg), Sam Banks (concussion), and Jack Graham (hamstring) all succumbing during the match.

However, despite the one-sided nature of the game, both teams exhibited a plethora of skill errors, preventing the contest from reaching any remarkable levels of performance.
