According to Fabrizio Romano, Omari Hutchinson is likely to be sent out on loan again this summer, as reported to Give Me Sport. The 20-year-old is currently with Chelsea, but his prospects for playing time at Stamford Bridge next season remain uncertain.
While some of Chelsea’s younger talents, such as Cesare Casadei, may have secured spots in Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team squad, Hutchinson needs regular playing time to maximize his potential in the future.
During the 2023/24 season, Hutchinson spent time on loan at Ipswich Town, where he gained valuable experience and played a significant role in the team’s successful promotion campaign.
A return to Portman Road could be an attractive option for Hutchinson, but interest in the young midfielder extends beyond Ipswich, with clubs across Europe reportedly expressing interest in acquiring his services.
Hutchinson’s contract with Chelsea is set to expire next summer, but the club is expected to offer him a new deal. If he agrees to extend his contract, Chelsea will have the flexibility to either sell him or send him out on loan, potentially under Pochettino’s management.
