It`s just terrible: 49ers star player turned down offer; I will not play for the Niners Again……

Arik Armstead, the best defensive player for the San Francisco 49ers, has left supporters perplexed after he “decided to become a free agent.” He declined the offer of a new contract to remain with the organization.

It is stated that in order to remain with the team, Armstead refused a pay cut. He wanted to be released go immediately so he could consider his choices when the free agency period begins this week, rather than altering his present contract. For the last nine years, the 30-year-old has been a reliable interior player for the 49ers, recording 33.5 sacks and 88 quarterback hits. This week, he’s probably going to land a large deal on the open market.

In addition to having to find a replacement for Armstead, the Niners also have to deal with the free agent market this week for defensive lineman and first-round pick Javon Kinlaw. After giving Nick Bosa a record-breaking contract last offseason, Armstead had started on the interior for the team. As a result, they might find it difficult to spend a lot of money on replacements.

Since the Niners recently signed Bobby Wagner’s former teammate KJ Wright as their interior linebackers coach, there have been rumors that San Francisco may replace Greenlaw with free agent Bobby Wagner from their rival Seattle Seahawks.
